Our Programs

VCS Academic Program is  anchored  on  the  adoption, implementation  and  the incorporation of  three  important keys for the development and formation of  VCS  learners.

Religion as the Core of the Curriculum

The Integral Core Curriculum

Veritas Catholic School’s children and young men and women possess hearts shaped by Christ, minds sharpened by the truths of the Gospels and the wisdom of mentors, mouths tempered by correct, respectful, and effective language, and hands and feet dedicated to unconditional service.

The VCS curriculum, therefore, is a reflection of who our Veritans are, and what they will become, for at the CORE of all our learning experiences is CHRISTIAN LIVING, VALUES, AND CHARACTER FORMATION, as articulated in our CORE VALUES.

Christian Living and the Integral Core Curriculum

As a Catholic school, Veritas has always subscribed to Religion as Core of the Curriculum, aptly focusing on faith formation and unconditional service. While these remain firmly in place as embedded in our core values, the added dimension of a “shared humanity” and a “common home or planet” are now articulated in the VCS curriculum, across all learning areas, co -curricular programs, and entire school environment.

It is thus the strategic direction of the school to let the Gospel-rooted principles of Pope Francis I’s landmark encyclical, Laudato Si and the urgent action plans of the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals, and UNESCO’s Global Citizenship permeate the K-12 curriculum, making education truly integral, reflective and transformative, given the needs and opportunities available for our 21st century Valiant learners, while being fully compliant with the minimum requirements set forth by the Philippine Department of Education.
