Veritas @ Miriam College Henry Sy. Sr Innovation Center

Last March 4-5, Veritas sent off 10 students from Grades 9-11 to Miriam College Henry Sy. Sr Innovation Center in Katipunan to attend YouthHack’s Ideathon 2017. Ideathon walks students from different high schools and colleges/universities through the wonderful world of startups with a series of comprehensive workshops and talks. To top off the event, the participants will put their hacking and hustling to the test as they pitch their startup idea to a panel of judges. This year’s Ideathon focuses on Sustainable Development Goals #9 and #11 with the theme “Making cities and Communities Sustainable through Innovation, Industry, and Infrastructure.” Veritas Team 1 won 3rd place in the HS Division with their product “Kryplet: The Kryptonite of your attacker.” Congratulations, Team Valiants! -Julia Sangalang, WIRE Editor
